The Canadian indie rock band from Montreal, Arcade Fire are performing at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Saturday November 19th 2022.
Arcade Fire is a Canadian indie rock band that formed in Montreal in 2001. The band consists of husband and wife Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, along with Will Butler, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury, and Jeremy Gara. The band’s name refers to a fire that burned down an arcade in Montreal.
Arcade Fire has released five studio albums: Funeral (2004), Neon Bible (2007), The Suburbs (2010), Reflektor (2013), and Everything Now (2017). Their music has been described as a mix of rock, pop, indie, electronic, and baroque. The band is known for their energetic live shows and for their use of various instruments, including the accordion, violin, mandolin, piano, xylophone, and drums.
Arcade Fire has won numerous awards, including the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album for The Suburbs. They have also been nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year three times. In addition to their musical achievements, Arcade Fire is also known for their political activism. The band has supported various causes such as Haiti relief, environmentalism, and gender equality.
