The 1975
The 1975 will be performing at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. The English rock band, which formed in 2002, consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Matthew Healy, bassist Ross MacDonald, drummer George Daniel, and keyboardist Adam Hann. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2013 and reached number one in the UK. Their second album, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, was released in 2016 and also topped the UK charts. The band’s third album, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, was released in 2018.
The 1975 have been praised for their catchy melodies, Healy’s falsetto vocals, and their use of various genres including pop, indie rock, synth-pop, and electronica. The band has been nominated for several awards, including the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and has won two NME Awards.
